The infamous Panasonic SD255 bread maker is without a shadow of a doubt the best breadmaker available to buy in the UK, or even the world! As mentioned above it can make breads in three different sizes, which believe it or not is a feature than most other breadmakers can’t provide. There are also several bake modes including: 100% wholemeal (our favourite), multigrain, gluten free, sandwich bread, and even a setting for pizza dough and rolls.
By this stage you can no doubt see for yourself that the SD255 bread maker has everything you could ever need, but hey, there’s more. The SD255 has a bake only mode, an extremely effective control pad, cool touch housing and even a rapid bake function.
The Panasonic SD255 Breadmaker makes 3 different sized loafs – medium, large and extra large. There are many comprehensive bake modes including; 100% wholemeal, multigrain, gluten free, sandwich bread, dough setting for pizzas, rolls etc. It also has a dispenser that adds additional ingredients automatically into the kneading process and rye bread mode. For example, it will automatically add raisins if you’re making fruit bread.
During our extensive tests this Panasonic bread maker really overwhelmed us due to its extensive features, clean design and relatively cheap price. It is fairly straightforward to set up and actually get baking. There is alot to be said for this as certain other breadmakers available to buy make this stage slightly time consuming in our opinion. It also looks great which is a huge benefit!
